Canberra Trip 2024
Our students had an amazing time travelling across Canberra and Sydney, taking in the sites and exploring many of the states’ wonderful attractions. Students visited the Royal Australian Mint museum, Mt Ainslie for panoramic views, the National Gallery, the National Arboretum, the Australian War Memorial and a bike ride around Lake Griffin. Students also visited the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, the Australian Museum, the National Canberra Exhibition, the Canberra Exhibition Centre and the Electoral Education Centre. Students walked down ANZAC parade, and through the halls of the Australian Institute of Sport before visiting Questacon. Students bussed to Sydney and had an amazing time on a harbour cruise of Sydney Harbour to Manly Beach, before they flew home.

Happy Birthday to Ella C and Isaac S who had a very special birthday celebration on this trip! What a week of incredible memory-making experiences!

Year 6 Alternate Programme

Across three days of our Year 6 Alternate Programme, students visited Parliament House, the Electoral Education Centre and Kings Park War Memorial in Perth. Year 6s also visited the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA), the Perth Mint, and AQWA.

The three days of the alternate programme were a perfect blend of education and excitement, making for unforgettable experiences.
